Development Bank of Ethiopia (DBE) hosted a productive bilateral session
, the leadership team at the Development Bank of Ethiopia (DBE) hosted a productive bilateral session with the visiting Country Platforms Hub Mission, alongside representatives from the Ministry of Finance Ethiopia and UNDP.
As Ethiopia transitions from high-level frameworks to practical, on-the-ground action under the Ethiopian Integrated Sustainable Financing Framework (E-ISFF), DBE is uniquely positioned to drive this momentum forward. The discussions focused on:
DBE’s Strategic Role: Synthesizing development financing perspectives across key sectors (energy, water, agriculture, transport, and industry) to promote inclusive, green, and sustainable development.
Complementing the Ecosystem: Aligning DBE’s unique mandate and portfolio with commercial banks, IFIs, and capital markets to unlock new investment pathways.
Targeted Technical Assistance: Identifying critical support and capacity-building needs for DBE in climate finance, green project structuring, and blending domestic and international resources.
Together with our partners, we are building a robust pipeline of bankable, climate-resilient opportunities to power Ethiopia’s national development priorities.
