The President of the Development Bank of Ethiopia, Dr. Esayas Kassa, held discussions with a delegation from the China Development Bank.
The meeting took place on April 22, 2026 (Miazia 14, 2018 E.C.) at the conference hall of the bank’s headquarters. During the discussion, the two institutions reviewed their previous areas of cooperation and exchanged views on ongoing collaborative efforts.
They also deliberated on ways to continue strengthening their longstanding partnership and explored opportunities for expanding cooperation into new sectors in the future.
The Ethiopian side was represented by Dr. Esayas Kassa, President of the Development Bank of Ethiopia, along with senior officials of the bank. On the Chinese side, the delegation included Du Dehu, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Division of the Qinghai Branch of the China Development Bank, as well as other senior officials from the bank.
