W/ro Abaynesh Teshome has been appointed as a member of Board of Management of
Development Bank of Ethiopia since February 12, 2024. She serves as Head of Inspection
Department at the Ethiopian Ministry of Finance since May 5, 2023. Prior to her current
position, Abaynesh had accumulated diversified work experiences serving as: Acting
Director of Inspection, Director of Compliance and Performance Audit, Team Leader for
Economic Sector Audit Review and Monitoring, Senior and Cooperative Auditor and
Accountant at the Ministry of Finance and at other government Organizations. She has got a
Master’s Degree in Accounting and Auditing, B.A degree in Economics, and Diploma in
Accounting
