The Development Bank of Ethiopia honored to welcome Rachael Flaherty
The Development Bank of Ethiopia (DBE) was honored to welcome Rachael Flaherty, Deputy Development Director and Head of the Climate, Economy, and Trade Team at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) in Addis Ababa.
During a high-level discussion held , DBE’s management team and Ms. Flaherty explored strategic areas of collaboration to support DBE’s ongoing reform and transformation agenda.
The dialogue focused on building robust partnerships that strengthen the Bank’s reform process and reinforce DBE’s position as Ethiopia’s premier policy bank. As part of this effort, the FCDO-funded Ethiopia Investment Advisory Facility II (EIAF II) plans to provide technical advisory support to DBE, helping advance priority reform initiatives, strengthen DBE’s institutional capacity, and support the Bank’s ongoing transformation agenda.
Through collaboration with international development partners, DBE continues to accelerate national development goals by advancing priority investments and fostering sustainable, long-term economic growth.
